Thanks that's exactly what I did. Something I just noticed this afternoon is the original motor out of this bike has hex head bolts in all the cases and covers. The motor that's in the bike that I redid last year has all socket head bolts. I suppose someone could have changed them or did Honda switch at some point.

I'm charging her $250.00. I usually get $50.00 an hour. What with all the picture taking and posting here alone was 1.5 hours yesterday.

    Jeff,

The XL owner had that hose made as he couldn't fine a OE part.

    Great job Steve!

Sorry I have not gotten here sooner, super busy with work and non-work activities. I will give you a call tomorrow. Did you start that new thing yet? I think that you were supposed to today???

Those hoses do look nice on that XL6R engine. Thank you again for the brake hose, it came Friday, what do you want for it? Do you have any extra hose guides for the forks? If you don't, do you know the part number so that I can order one or however many it will take for my bike.

I'm the lucky lass Steve's rebuilding the XR650L for.

No bike since last September when I sold my F800S, and I have only ridden maybe 1 hour in the past year on others' bikes.

    Yuck!

After Steve buttons up the engine, I will need to install it in the frame and then ... hope she fires up and all is functional.

I am very excited and very grateful MCMA111 reached out to me via ADV to help, especially after seeing the strong following here on ADV. :clap :freaky

    The saga continues.
