thought you had a remote for it
Lol yeah but I didn't take it in the balloon
Best part about Sunday camping is every one heads home and the best spots open up
We scored a great spot on the Slate River above Crested Butte. Might have to spend a few days here
20 feet from the van:
I get to say it:
+1 * 2
Camping at O'be Joyfull above Crested Butte right now. Just saw this DIY pull in but he left before I could say Hello... Maybe Illinois plates? (it is mountain bike week here in CB)
The best part.
We were at a knee deep stream crossing near Gunsight Pass (thAt stopped us in the Sprinter) earlier today and while looking at it a yellow sportsmobile 4x4 van came across it.
Cheryl turned to me and said 'maybe we should spend that 20 grand on the 4x4 conversion...
HHahhah! There goes 20 large.
Wives are good at spending money. DAMHIK.
Congrats to you two, by the way. When I told Olivia she said "Cool".
So Geek, what is left to do (or at least that you have thought of)?
The improvements just seem to have no end to them. Every time I think "Perfection" you prove me wrong.
The next big thing will be the Interweave fabric so I can do the headliner, window treatments etc. I also have to do all the drawers and lower cabinet doors still.
We are camping in the van in Ouray as I type this and I'm making a list of items that seems to keep growing () but overall layout and functionality is good.
I still need to do the finished counter and vertical cabinet on the drivers side and I think we agree I'm going to make the vertical cabinet on the passenger side longer.
Then there is the sofa cushions and....
Brad you are winding me up
I love Ouray. The Best Western on the South end of the town has a bad ass hot spa. I bet you can sneak in.
Smart move buying all the power tools before the actual wedding
That way you have a lot less "splainin' to do"
That was a first...
Sitting on main st in Ouray while Cheryl grabs some provisions before we head to Silverton
A guy knocks on the window...
"hey are you geek on the Sprinter forum?"
I've had it happen many times "are you feel on adv" over the years but the sprinter forum is a first
"I recognized your wheels.. I used some of your 8020 ideas in my Sprinter too"
Turns out he lives here in Ouray. Lucky bugger!
World is so small.... Oh, what are you doing camping during work week? Speaking of lucky buggers..
Keep it up,,you make me get off my lazy ass.
Sprinters, the best road trip truck ever.Love'n mine.
Fridge, bed, coffee maker, power inverter, and a curtain.Throw the bike on the back an its close to perfection,,,for me.
Now if I can get your awing.
You might of covered it already, but is there a noticeable difference in road noise or heating and cooling requirements with all of the new windows? I am sure the views and ability to open them outweigh an negatives, but curious.
I am jealous of the dog as well.
