Also could be titled...Does this tank make my ass look big :-) ...Back in 2015 I bought this Ural with a R60/5 engine installed. Work was done by a BMW guy in Ga....here is what it looked like when I got it...

As usual I found something else I wanted instead and sold it to my new friend Jim from Tn. He proceeded to put a lot of work and money into it...including the huge tank you see on it. He had Richard Winters go through everything and line out the bike like it should be...here are the results. I bought it back and am looking forward to riding it around the countryside here...

I think is was made by a local craftsman, and nice job too. Not a Hoske, or Heinrich.

How many gallons is that tank?

What's the advantage of the R60 engine? Reliability, HP, parts availability ???

I want a tank like that too!
As for bladder capacity, a catheter hose down the pants leg should do the trick.

I have a R80/7 engine I will be going through and installing at some later date...I realize the Ural other components might not take a lot more horsepower but I'm pretty easy on my stuff...

The R80 motor is the perfect size for those rigs it's the R100 where you have to go light on the throttle.
