Can't wait for the Alaska map. Put that together with the book mentioned a couple of posts up make perfect riding companions. For those living outside of Alaska coming to ride, I recommend an Alaska Gazetteer map book also. They are very, very detailed maps to make the perfect vacation planning package.

Yes we will have a package with our map and Motoquest's book on our website.
Indeed an Alaska Gazetteer http://www.amazon.com/Alaska-Atlas-Gazetteer-DeLorme/dp/0899332897 is the other key guide piece to bring with you.

Sorry, I have not heard any word yet but i'll look into it more.

I have not been asked to work on all the dirt roads layer of the road and add them and that is always a key piece for me to know a map is coming real soon.
I also add all the POI's such as hot springs and such.

The CDR/CDT. No sorry. I'd say download Big Dog's gpx and go from there.

Our state maps have some of the CDR roads on them but not all.
I do all the dirt road work for our state maps (non-BDR) and I'll see how much of the CDR roads I can add to the new NM map to label the CDR roads plus when we update and reprint CO > WY > MT. It might take awhile, but maybe we can make it happen.

We plan on creating our own route with the AZBDR (to be released in Jan 2014) connecting with the UTBDR and then connecting with the IDBDR (hopefully riding in 2014, but nothing concrete) to Canada.

When complete, this would make a great alternate direction to the CDR.

Can't wait for the AZBDR. I rented your Washington backcountry video from Amazon and really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all the work you put into making a quality product.
