See the trend here for requests connecting BDR routes ?
I see a hole here that Butler Maps can plug and capitalize on.
    Just sayin...........

yes the plan it to have the northern terminus of the AZBDR easily connect with the southern/start of the UTBDR. then the following year, there is a strong possibility the next BDR will be IDBDR and the start of that will easily connect with the northern terminus of the UTBDR. we have always planned a Mexico to Canada route with the BDRs. when they are build built out there will be several, plus several east-west/west-east big routes too.

The ever entertaining, Austin Vince, is in Arizona to help with a forthcoming Backcountry Discovery Routes project. He and a colleague are looking for a place to stay near Phoenix on Monday, May 6th.

Heading south to start the Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route - AZBDR. Not a bad commute.

I'd just like to take a minute here ta place a well deserved KUDO to the folks at BUTLER MAPS.....Court..Justin..Bill..Scott..Maria.....& I'm sure I've missed someone else too....Ya'll have all proved that you're real STAND UP FOLKS by takin care of your dealer's (& customer's) problems ...usually without question. Even in tuff financial times you come through time & again.... That's a sure sign of people who care about more than the $$$$ involved.

When people start a business...It's usually to make a profit it's true. But some business folks know how to temper the profit factor to the customer care factor.....THE FOLKS @ BUTLER MAPS ARE WORING AT ONE OF THOSE COMPANIES

A few of us Virginians are coming out to Colorado for a little ADV ride. Our original plan was to drive out to Silverthorn where my son lives, drop the truck and trailer, and head south to Trinidad. Ride the Colorado section of the TAT maybe ending in Cortez were we were going to ride the COBDR to work our way upto Steamboat to get closer to our starting point. However, some of us were talking about maybe riding the TAT home in reverse rather than driving. That being the case, it would make more sense for us to start in Steamboat, head south west on the COBDR, then pick up the TAT to return in reverse. This eliminates the ride slab down to Trinidad.
Does anyone have any thoughts about doing the COBDR in reverse? :deal

We just started riding the BDRs south to north because it's easier getting traction up hill :rofl The direction does not matter. Many have done it north to south. Enjoy! Bill
