here is how I installed dp sliders in my bv 350. stock rollers are
    8-25 x 16 - 15.9 grams. sliders don't come in this size yet.
I got my sliders from buggy parts NW, in size of 25 x 17 - 15 grams.
I then trimed the sliders, using the side of a grinding wheel too
16 width. this lowered the weight to 14.6 grams. my bv had 4500 miles
on it and the stock rollers were flat in spots.
scot runs great with better take-off and I think lower rpms at speed.

Sure would like to see some before and after performance numbers. Even just a stop watch tested over a short distance. I'll be getting into my GTi 300 soon. Will run it at local 1/8 mile drag strip for before and after #'.

You might have read about my slider experiments (ended up on a different
variator after some time but still..) I just went from stock 15.5gr on the DT300
(which is the same as GTi300) to 14gr and 0-60mph went from 11 to 9
seconds, with about 500 cruising revs more up to 50mph, about the same
revs at 60mph, and 500 revs LESS compared to stock after 65mph.

Also, WOT throttle revs went up from 5500 to 6500 which made a huge
difference accelerating at WOT from 40 to 60 for overtaking etc.
