    Event Canceled

Sorry all, We have come to the realization that November mountain camp outs are not conducive to carefree out of doors habitation for the masses. We will try again next year at an earlier date and when we can get our "shit" together.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Blooch -
I'm IN along with the Muffynmonster unless the doc says I can't drive yet.

I will not be on the bike (two weeks post-op) and if you have a spare bed (or someplace inside I can use a blow-up mattress), it would be much appreciated.

Blooch, if you have some wet soggy grass in the meadow full of ticks that would be great!

And just how do you plan to hang your hammock in the meadow?

I've hung one between two trucks before but I don't think the Ruckus is tall enough to keep your skinny ass off the ground!

    Hammock camping in Nov :loco

Though I was warm at LF at 30F so I suppose it won't be too bad. I think I will take my tent though...

Best wishes with your recovery :thumb

    Thanks!

I've camped down to 20 in a hammock. Heavy thermarest and a 0 degree bag made it work. Since a hammock has proven best for my bad back, I am seriously looking at the hammock cocoon mentioned in the Laurel Fork thread
