IIRC, Drift5 was keeping a list of quotable quotes..........we need to see them.
I made it into the Quote book!
But the quote was aboot Drif1o, so we may never see it.
Want to read quote book
Stopped somewhere in NC for lunch last Sunday, had my BYOB shirt on, a guy asked me if it meant "bring your own bible".
Did you give him an AMEN?

Just south of Coudersport on Rt 44. Cherry Springs state park.
Yep....the road the beer store is on goes directly to it.
Drove through there on my way home. I would think the overlook at the top of the hill S of Renovo would be excellent too, but no campground there.
I'm sure there's more 'white light' from town and traffic there though.
Jax, Boonie, and I rode past there on the way back from Hyner View.
I ma not talking Hyner view, but on 144 S. The overlook is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, It may not have the 360 horizon view but pretty close. I can't imagine there is any light pollution there.
Ok...I think I know the place.
For the average stargazer there is no need to go there and try and obey all there silly rules. They get pretty anal about lights and noises. I've been there before and in all honesty, pretty much anywhere in the PA wilds you can get a similar view.
If you're a diehard star gazer with fancy/sensitive equipment it's definitely worth it.
Didn't see those.
We rode past the SP, but didn't go in. Next time.
That place was a small airport not long ago. I have not camped there overnite but think it would be cool..
