Their food is hit and miss but mostly all local raised stuff. They brew all their one beers and some are downright tasty whiles others are a little :puke. I believe the brewmaster learned his craft at Ithaca brewing. it's a very hipster hangout. My bartender last time had a handlebar mustache and was probably younger than me.

There are only two microbreweries in the area yorkholo and the Wellsboro house. The Wellsboro house just opened their brewery last fall and only do small runs which sell out fast. They do have 15 or so beers on tap that are all micro brews or imports though. The burnin barrel which is at the entrance of Colton point state park( west side of canyon) has a bunch of beer on tap but no idea on selection.

Galeton had a couple restaurant bars but it's out of my range so can't rate any of them. I've always heard good things about the Germania Hotel though.

My personal preference is the Horseshoe Inn. It's all backroads to my house, cheap, decent food and buck domestic drafts. It hasn't been touched cosmetically since the 80's or before. At least I think so, I wasn't even around in the 80's :lol

Wellsboro house that is the one by the old train station. I wanted to stop in there when we picked up a tag at the train station, but it was Sunday morning and we had just watched Bean eat Fruit Loops :lol3

Goosecreek, that is the place. I don't think there is a bad place to eat in Wellsboro(except the fast food) but Wellsboro house is my favorite.

I'm in, along with Miss Jules.

Riding 2 up and will be camping there, hotel rooms sound expensive. :deal

Sounds great. You said you're going Saturday morning, right? We could just meet by your place in the morning, you're closer anyways. I'll probably have the trailer with me so it'll definitely need to be 'easy' dirt.

We'll do a test pack without the trailer soon, might be able to get by without it on this one. Sure makes it nice though.
