As usual, Hardwaregirl is right on the money. When I move back to greater ATL, will have add a cruiser to stable, sport-tourer is fantastic on everything bit dirt

I know where the tag is, but I am working on the bicycle tomorrow. If I can get away on Saturday morning, then I will make it happen.

I'm going to be spending Saturday disassembling and reassembling the green bike, so no go. It's Dean's.

I may not get the chance tomorrow, I may not have chance until Monday. If it is still there, then I will head that way, it is still anyone's game.

I actually took a ride on Thursday and Friday to where I thought it might be. Of course I was wrong.
All I found was some deserted scary looking buildings that I just knew some crackhead would pop
out and kill me for my bike.

I'm sure I know where the railroad crossing and power lines are, just can't pinpoint the area where Rhonda rest.

But if it's even muddier now, I guess I'll have to wait until she returns to dry ground. Unless I take along a friend
    and a come-a-long.

Hey wench. We're gonna have to winch.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

And for some reason...I'm still single. Hmmmm

Holler if you actually do need someone with AWD and some chain. If the tag is where I think it is, it won't be so bad getting the scooby down there.

I am looking at taking my 200 XC-W out for some trail exploration in the area tomorrow, with some friends. If I can figure out how to get to it from the direction that I have to take, I will do so. I will post a comment if I got it, and load the pictures up when I get home.

I had to do some work this afternoon, so I didn't make it today. Fearless and I were going to try and get together to ride today in that area, but again, I had to work. I am thinking that meeting up around 10:30 on Sat, and doing some exploring would be fun. That way if we run into any issues, we all will have backup. I am in, Fearless is in, I am trying to get HondaBob on board, but I haven't talked to him today. Agox, Hardwaregrrl? Anyone else interested, I am taking my dirt bike, so I will be trucking it to Henrico Rd. I have talked to an asphalt company across from the BP, and they let me park my truck in their lot. I have to ride about 200 yards to the entrance. Let me know.

Knobbies would be a good thing. I am sure that you could do most of the trails without them, but if there is any mud, or loose stuff, you may have issues.

As for me, I always have issues but will be working and don't have the skills yet.

Cross your fingers and hope all the KLR needs is a throttle cable adjustment.

    Ill say......

Went in thinking it would be my last chance for a while. Water was certainly higher than when hardwaregrrl was there, and they've dug right up to it.

The Locals, however, seemed to enjoy it...

Looked for Our favorite RockStar, but no go. I fear she may have met an untimely demise....

An obligatory shot of where the road should be.......

Had no way to get off the bike for the shot without just dumping it in the mud, and didn't realize I had the phone set up to autocrop to keep image size down...... Ended up with no actual Tag shot of the bike at the location. So I'll hold off on posting the exact location pending a ruling. If all is good, I'll post a location and a new tag. If it ain't a good grab though, I'll be happy to let one of you FF's head back in and get it.... I've had a little too much fun with it at this point.

BTW, I went 'round to the other side since I was there and muddy anyway. Seems this whole operation was a little bigger than I thought. The Hill Climb is going to be a Real bitch now......

Oh shit!!! I am so sorry I had no idea they were doing anything down that way. Fearless, I'll walk the dog over there the next few days and try to locate our rockstar, although I'm certain you did a thorough search. Just feel bad to have lost another mascot, sorry to you Ting.

You certainly got the tag:eek1.....why does it seem like when we find a new place to explore, it's taken away really soon.
