Speaking of work would you be interested in a small fabrication job? Need some custom aluminium brackets measured/cut/fabricated in order to mount a new headlight on the Katoom. If so, I'll email you off site with details.

About the only thing I can do with aluminum is buy it, bend it, and drill holes in it I only know how to weld steel but I could certainly ask one if my fab buddies for a favor. Lemme know when you want to see my shit hole yard to grade and prep for seed??

It's getting late in the game for fall planting, even rye. May have to head out of town this weekend at the last minute. If that's the case the earliest I could get out for a full day is a week from Sat. Although, I could potentially load up & come after work one weeknight. I have lights on the tractor they aren't very bright though, and no work light on the back.

What I have in mind for my project may not need much if any tig welding. I basically need two plates fabricated to locate a new Squadron light (with Polisport shell) outwards and upwards a bit from the default location. This is to allow clearance for the OEM speedo & keyswitch, and to make a little more room for extra wiring and a dimmer module (a plastic case the size of a large brownie). Basically - I'd be up for leaving the pumpkin and new headlight bits with you and getting it back with the new headlight mounted up. I'd be fine with wiring it myself or if you think it's easy enough you could do that too.

I am out of town racing bikes until late Tuesday night. Depending on my work load when I return, I will make an attempt to go and get it.

Queen, I can get your welding done. I have a welder on call, so to speak. Send me some more info as to what you need, and I will see what I can do.

If nobody gets this by Sunday I'll retrieve the twins from their refreshing wilderness vacation and move them back to the city.

I just need a better clue, but that is just me. I will go anywhere my 690 will take me. I have to go to Griffin in the AM for work, and have plans for tomorrow afternoon, but Sunday is wide open. And I am always looking for new places to ride.

Oh lawd...last time that happened, the girls had to be stablized, sanitized,
remoralized, baptized, decriminalized, deodarized and sterilized because
they had been tyrannized, terrorized, tantalized, ghettoized, fetishized,
    traumatized, heathenized, demoralized, Rite-ized.

But they ate good bar b q.

I spent way to much time in that rats nest, and still have no idea where those damn rocks are.

Maybe this will help show the error of your ways. If you don't feel up to a redo let me know & I'll pick them up this week. :)

That helps a lot, I didn't venture to far South of the power line cut. It will be a few days, but I will try and make it happen. I am glad that you put it there, it opened up a new place to ride my 200 XC-W, and to take my truck off road.

Doode....Ting tagged this place last year. I remember after I grabbed the tag and posted some pics of the powerlines you called to ask if the XC would be happy there. That place is crazy....I gave a jump to a couple guys in a jeep that had watered the starter and then spun the battery dry trying to restart. It was pretty neat when we got the Jeep going...they were blown away that a bike was able to jump start it!!! I'll try to get it this week but no promises.

Dude that was me. I was wondering if that may have been you on the
orange bike. Crap, I was close to turning around, but running a bit late.
Oh man, I hate I missed you. I was going to ride out as far as I could go,
then walk the rest of the way to the girls. I dragged bottom getting over
the curb on the the little turn-in, then bounced a few dips and figured
there was no way I was going to go down that long hill.

Man, I hate I missed you.

I think it is about time to get together for a drinking session soon. What do you all think? Maybe a night that Ghost Ryder can join us.
