If you guys are seriously interested in the gear swap, let me know. I can wrangle some space some time this summer at a certain institution of higher education.

There's also The 2nd Annual International Journal of Motorcycle Studies conference being held up at UCCS in just about a month. Looks like registration is $20.

That locale would be great if possible. Not sure how big it would or could get. Looks like a very cool event as well. I'm in!.. for both.

Tomorrow 10am to at least 2pm, I will be at Apex Sports with the race bike.
Apex has an open house with free food and Yamaha "Get Out and Ride Sales Event"
They asked me to be there to talk about the race.

Hope to see some of you FF there!

Sorry I didn't see this before today, Chris, that sounds like it would have been fun. :(:
Hope it went well for you.

I know, I know, it's only Monday. But SWMBO is working out of town this week so I know I'll be free on Wednesday.
Rudy's BBQ? Il Vicino? Jose Muldoons? Phantom Canyon? Something further north? Exteme Pizza so Amy can eat too?

I'm up for anything as long as it's good. Therefore I will refrain from making any suggestions. :lol3

You're new to town . . . and, admittedly, The Gazette keeps recommending that dump (for legal purposes I must inject that this is this author's personal opinion and it is neither endorsed nor accepted as a statement of fact by this website or by the owner(s) thereof) as being the best Mexican food in town. You get a pass on Amandas Fonda. But the next time you read their food reviews you'll want to do a follow up check with a local. I'm starting to think their Mexican Food Critic must be from Iowa or something.:lol3

Jose's has the best queso in town if you remember to have them cook chorrizo into it. Rudy's makes pretty good Texas BBQ. I've never had a bad meal at Il Vicino or Phantom Canyon. But we should probably let some of the regular Wednesday nighters chime in.

Matt, you out there? Eric, you hobbling yet?

You better watch the Iowa comments :thwak Even I know that Amanda's Fonda isn't that great :lol3

Id vote for Jose Muldoon's just to get you to shut up about the queso :lol3
We used to do Old C's downtown alot, but that gets a little boring. The best part about that place is the outside seating and the beer, but I haven't see Ian take a sip yet.

The motion has been seconded. Is it time to take a vote?

    :hide
    :rofl

:razorIowa. But I shouldn't talk. I grew up in Upstate NY and learned to eat Mexican food in Greeley. :shog

I've served my time in Texas so I'm well-acquainted with very good Mexican and Tex-mex food. Let's give Jose's a whirl and see how it stacks up.

I have heard that Jose's is much improved. 15 years ago it was a waste of building space so ... I'm in. I've never been to any of these things so just look for the shaved head and hi-viz jacket...

    ... what time?

    Hey Gang,

I discovered the thread and have lurked for a few weeks. How exclusive a group is this Springs FF? Are you accepting applications? Have been a longtime Ducati owner and recent ADV Rider convert, looking for some like-minded riders to share lies with. Jose Muldoon's Wed night (16th). Can I play?

Well, I see I screwed up... I didn't ask, I just invited myself! I haven't been to one of these either so we can talk to each other if nobody wants to play nice with the noobs... :freaky

Hell yes everyone is welcome to show up. There seems to be a core group of regulars but you're only a noob once so come to Jose's. Motorcycles, ADV and food are the common threads so unless someone changes the time, it looks like it's 6 pm.
