Does anyone use "Rever"? If so, I'm on there as "Steven Breckenridge " if ya wanna follow.
Well it looks like Mark and Sam are going to ruff it tonight for the location tag I got from Mark today.
Hey the video of the dude who's bike was submerged in the creek.. was that you (nick) that jumped in the water while the dude was just sitting on the edge?
if it my 6k bike sitting in the creek i would have jumped in to get it ... i m assuming he was in shock?
No, it was not me who jumped into the water. I was leading a different route. I personally walk my bike across that bridge, I don't trust it.
Is it the bridge, or the trolls underneath you don't trust?
I treat that bridge just like any other...I look where I want to go, not where I don't want to end up.
Those bridges can get slick especially from all the summer rain.. last time i went to the ones in Belmore were super slippery but i rode the center part and just coasting!
So one guy fell off the bridge, one guy busted his ribs and a lot of people ate sand.. crap i could been added to the list if only it wasnt 30degrees and raining.. kudos for all that went. thats dedication right there!
He was on our ride. The night befoes rain made it like ice. Not his bike but a buddy who was also on the ride. They got it started but the oil was milk.
You've already exceeded your post allocation this month. why am I not surprised..
People usually fall off the bridge not because it's slick or has trolls but because it has two different levels of height (about 2") and halfway across they try to get on the upper level because it lines up better with the exit. Years ago on the GS rides we'd stop and I'd warn them not to cross over the edge trap, and of course one time later I forgot and went right off it too.
Yeah, it's pretty easy in a Jeep.
dumping a GS in the water.. that would really suck...
Inmates name was not changed to MotoMilky that name was already taken
It was an 800 and it stayed on the bridge, I didn't. It was late Spring and there was no water in the creek and I landed prone on a big piece of asphalt on the bottom. Took awhile before I could sit up and climb out.
We had a guy go off on an HP2 once, he was in the water and never let go of the handlebars.
Another time Kim went in and climbed out before Rich could get to his camera, so he asked her to get back in. ..woman is a real trooper.
Actually the guy that tossed the bike into the water borrowed it. So it was not his dog..err bike. I came upon them on the D ride. The owner of the bike and his buddy that he loaned the bike to. I loaned the owner my tow strap so he could get the bike out to where he could get his truck back to, in order to recover it. He said they got it started, but due to the milky oil did not want to run it. If he had it would have over heated and eventually quit. There is a reason I know stuff about swamped bikes, but I can't seem to remember why
Best part was we had 10 KTMs but no one with the right plug wrench. So, had to pull the carb, tilt it backwards to rock it and get anything out of the cylinder, then went upside down to make sure everything was free and hunky dorry. I was surprised the electrics held up as well as it did, no shorts and the voyager dash was on the whole time.
Going to start carrying various plug wrenches with me for the future. It was memorable for sure!

anyone heard of the Centennial Trail in Ocala.. whats it like?
No, but if I were a betting man (not a wise ass) I'd say probably a trail of some kind, a lot of sand, and a bunch of pine trees to make it greener.
