Any of you guys headed to the barber motorsports vintage festival this weekend? Wondering if its worth it considering the rain outlook... I figured some of the event was outside as well

I'll be there tomorrow through Monday. My tent can handle hurricane force winds no problem. :raindance

Just finished 3 days and 330 miles local of PWC riding with the unofficial aqua division of CADS (WADS).
Official name is SCJR, Space Coast Jet Riders. This gang reminds me a lot of CADS. They too are all about fun.
These guys & gals are fearless and fast in tight shallow water. Adrenaline rush! Thought you could only do log crossings on land? Wrong. Gator, schmater. They laugh & give out a “squirrel” award to a ski rider that misses a turn and ends up on land.
Anyway, rode upper St Mary’s River, upper Satilla River, upper Thomas Creek, upper Nassau River. All that cool twisty water you see from the air as you are landing at JAX.
Wish that some more of the CADS gang had dual identity as WADS. Guaranteed, you’d have a blast!

PS: Some of the WADS gang uses Garmins too. They fiddle with theirs constantly, miss the big picture, and are lost a lot too.

    I wanna do it!!! I've never jet-skied.

I got the DRZ all put back together and took it out for a ride. It's definitely running better but I had a problem with the start button. I think I need to take it apart and clean it. I think I'll also change out the fork oil. If I had time, I'd take the swing arm off and grease all those bearings. But that'll have to wait until I retire.

It was discussed at last week's meeting we'd TRY a new venue this week to see if we like it, V Pizza. If not it's easy enough to revert back to Don Juan's. It's two doors south of Ace Hardware on San Jose in S. Mandarin. They have outdoor seating in back and places to park bikes nearby. Those that show get to vote..

I thought about suggesting that place a couple months ago. But then I remembered BeefMo saying something about cutting the throat of anyone that thought we should move. Maybe not his exact words, but that was sentiment I got. :D

Need to post this early, since there is a change and I might not be able to get to my computer during the day on Tuesday.
