I couldn't comprehend the KTM hack job, too bad they didn't say what went wrong with the brakes. Katee's bike, and she merself, are very cool. The Guzzi build was very nice, didn't quite understand putting a Ninja 500 motor in an old CB frame:huh

Somewhere he has a Craigslist ad for that POS...for the discerning buyer, to be built & painted to their specs.

Think he was asking $7k...plus any additional "custom" work. :lol3

I didn't like the first episode I saw (the one with the KTM made into a steam punk bike) much at all. :puke1

I'm glad I stuck around for the second episode my DVR taped. An old Harley Aermacchi rebuilt and a Ninja 500 motor into a CB550 frame. Both were really cool bikes that turned out very well IMHO.

Let's see what the third episode holds . . . :lurk

Try your public access TV for "Team Chicago Challenge" and/or "Motorsports Unlimited". Both can be found on youtube, iirc. TCC las a link to old programs on its web site. Granted, not the world's best TV. But it is local to the WI./IL/MI bottom of the lake area. TCC runs a RR track school and Groups 4&5 are for street bikes if you have never done that?

I though she was OK, until I found out she could kickstart that 600. Now she is smokin'. I would love to own that bike.

I think it was a season or two ago where a beautiful old CB750 was destroyed in front of the original owner who put many miles on it. That episode annoyed me as the bike came out like crap.
Other than that, I really like the show.

Average being all the other crap on TV. :deal
Some good episodes, some mediocre. Some of the "project bikes" I would rather have stock.

The Katee Sackhoff episode is the best so far. :evil

If only they could keep Mike Seate from speaking. :fpalm:topes

Last night was the Rokon, very beautiful and creative machine :clap. The drag race stuff wasn't too exciting and wish they'd stop restating and reshowing what was said ten minutes before.

+1 the Rokon turned out lookin good, but they were saying it was "fast" I doubt it.

The drag race bit, other than being at the track closest to me was pretty bad. All of the bikes they were riding were fresh from the showroom, I always thought of cafe racers as being custom bikes, not showroom new.

That's how they stretch 15 minutes of usable program into a 1/2 hour slot- that and adding in some brain-melting commercials

Yeah, but it'd be nice if they showed some of the actual build.

I liked the few shows I saw. There's only so much TV I can watch. Thank goodness for AppleTV and YouTube, it any kind of moto I want when I want it.
I'll be even happier when the Supercross season starts. I think I'd like to see more moto's on TV, there's so much negative coming out of it.

I like the show but I will admit to being biased. I know the producer and creator Mike Seate from when I lived in Pittsburgh were he also wrote for one of the local papers. He is occasionaly on the show as an interviewer or narrator. He is also the editor and creater of Cafe Racer magazine and wish him nothing but the best.

He is a good guy, a true motorcycle enthusiast. He has produced cafe racer shows for Vintage Motorcycle days and other cycle shows. He is helping to keep tha spirte alive. Good for hm!

I have also ridden with him a few times and he can ride!
