that green framed honda, just aint my cup of tea. seat unit doesnt look right, its too big, and the colours just dont make it what it could be.
I love the little detail work, the engine looks better than new, the clear engine sidecover with tiny screws, the rearset set up, verynice.
The colours of bikes are always a personal thing.
I get a kick out of the plate holder too... And yes, color choices are never to suit all. I bet the builder digs it.
It's Beautiful, I said it.
I don't know if this one has ever been posted in this thread but if you ask me, it's pretty effin' phenomenal.
Twice... I agree.
Always good to see a proper cafe on this thread...
That does look sweet, but I think I would have to be a foot shorter to even feel remotely comfortable sitting on it, unless I was sitting on the tail section. Not much room left for handling with those shocks. Amazing build none the less.
I like it... alot.
My bike (also a CB750) has a very similar setup, I'm 6'7 and I'm fine on the bike. Though my seat does have at least a little bit of a cushion on the seat....
Nice bike though!
Day iz soo cool others look out fo dem!!!
Could be wrong but is the battery in the seat hump? A popular idea for cafe's in the uk back in the day (as they say!) Also part of the idea for a seat hump was to improve aerodynamics - a little hump doesn't do the business, even if it looks better... as for colours, bare or black, no question!
You are right, the battery goes under the seat hump. I kind of agree it looks a little big. I am considering having the seat upholstered with black leather and maybe some studs going across the hump. Something like this 450 seat. Any suggestions?
Also, I do am color blind. No kidding. I always end up with lots of green stuff. Wife has sent me back to return green jackets, pants, etc. I've had green cars and even once I had a green house. Kind of a religious thing, attracted to what I can't see...
Interesting, I know other people that are color blind that are strangely facinated with that particularly shade of green.
Now that's a nice looking bike.
About the BMW...
So far, there's no call for it
just post it would 'ya ?
we can discuss it's merit once we get to see it.
Again, not really a cafe, but heres an update for y'all anyways.
Really only have the expansion chamber basically finished. Still have a few odds and ends to do on it, then on to finishing the rear sets, hooking up the brakes, finishing the kickstand, lowering it, putting the new front tire on, and maybe building a seat bump.
The pipe sits quite a bit higher than it shows now that I have one of the mounts welded on.
