    That's a tidy Venom.

I stared at the pic for quite a while because something seemed "wrong" about it. There are obvious later year additions or modifications, but that's stuff we would have done too back then.

Then it came to me. None of us would have painted alloy mudguards, they would have been polished until they were glowing.

(That's not a criticism, just a comment on a neat bike)

That is a RS R-Rocket :clap and yes they shake all over the road, when you reach the 100-110 miles p/h. I change the front tire (stiffer walls) and the front springs, also set-up the forks like an RS-RT and problem solve.

Here's some pics from back in the days of cafe racers. All hard used. :)

My Venom in 1969. Dodkin tuned, always regretted selling it.

My Norton Atlas with Dunstall tank. Took me round Loch Ness in 66 minutes, but truly a horrible bike to ride (vibration).

    Norvin - an unruly beast.

BEAUTIFUL! Love the attention to detail. :clap

Where did you source the chrome license/tax disc holder? Red spark plug covers?

The spark plug caps are NGK LB05EMH-R, and the tax disc holder is from a World famous auction site

    Hi,
What Paints were used? Single Stage or Basecoat clearcoat, brand, etc?

Can you get a pic of the upper triple clamp? Is that a Lower used on the upper?

Any pix of straight side view?

    Sweet bike!

    Hi Les
I had the paint done by a guy from the local paint shop, it is a basecoat and a number of clearcoats, I do not know the brand. The triple clamp and fork conversion was not done by me, I believe the triple clamp is off a K100 16v.

Maybe it's just the lens that was used, but it appears as if the front has been raised. :patch
