I'll be going that way today but I'll be in my Jeep not riding the bike so I guess it won't count.

Nothing could be easier than a dash up to the Anitoch Bridge and grab the tag to move south. But do take the time to enjoy the Delta. This is not a freebie, that bridge has a toll from the Southbound direction.

Actually, the toll booth is on the Northbound lanes.

And in response to bobbyimp's question, yes.

Ah, tidal flat farts! Especially fun in the 4 wheeled vehicle with all the windows rolled up & AC going! :puke2:rofl

it isn't so bad when the wind is blowing hard...of course, that makes the trip over the bridge real interesting.

How far South does it need to be before you would pursue it? Apparently the Antioch Bridge from the North is a big challenge even for NorCal riders.

If I had street tires on my XR650L I would grab it. I would like to see more on the coast north or south

I'll be up North in the next two weeks with a bike. If I get close I 'll grab the tag and take it south, way south.

    Ok, consider this tag grabbed!
Location is a bit off, but I hope close enough for dusk on a dangerous road.

Now, I am not going to move it very far, but I am going to make it difficult!
See the bridge in the background?
It is somehere on Hwy. 12

Nice shot of the Antioch Bridge, Flylink. Your new location looks really familiar but I have to agree that the angle is very interesting.

I just went over that bridge a couple hours ago...in my Jeep. Have to ride the bike next week and grab the tag.

    Nope, I don't think so.
That bridge is on Hwy12, west end of Bouldin Island, by B&W Marina.
Shot from levee road on Tyler Island. Line up the bridge with Mt Diablo

Uh, “tag” is the term I believe.

People fishing at no extra charge.

Absolutely no idea where my tag will be. First clue though: it will be further than 30 miles away from this last one.

Also, it may take me longer than 48 hours, so if you were looking for an excuse to ride the delta, you may have a chance to “Bruce” me.
