tlj, those are nice pics. you surely know your way around the off beaten paths. we did the slo penguins ride, that too was a lot of fun.

this last ride got so big @ 30 PPs we kept it below the radar so it remains manageable. keeping a group this size on a 350+ mile ride wasn't an easy task.

    pm coming.

The weather changes dramatically each year for this ride. I remember my first time up there in 2011 and it was cold, but nothing close to those pictures. Just a little bit of snow patches on the side on hwy.
Last year it was beautiful. Perfect weather to ride. No mud, no snow. And this year... :vardy

It's been my understanding that "OHV"s are not allowed within the monument as it is. I'm not sure that I see what is changing? I would like to know what/where this "noticeable increase in OHV use" is, or is this just another desk jockey environmentalist trying to get their hands on some green sticker money for fences/signs:puke1

Sounds like this is something that should be our next big ride, pretty sure we can do it for much less than the $3,500 Rawhyde is charging. My god, no wonder all the KTM guys think the beemer crowd is a little uppitty.

finally got the chance to get the 350 on it's first dirt excursion since i bought it last october.

haven't ridden rowher flats ohv area for several months. the weather is perfect at mid 70s, and dirt was still damp. gotta ride.

I'll trailer your GSA to Disney Land for $3,400! :rofl

I rode north all the way through Cali along the coast last year and it was one of the best things I've ever done. Not sure what I can handle this year but a road ride at minimum would be cool. :cry Keep me posted if you start planning. No slow pokes on a trip that long.
