We will have a limited number of the long awaited Version 2 Camel Tank available for pre-buy starting Thursday (March 27th). Guaranteed ship date of May 1/14. There will be a pre-buy link on our site mid next week.

The V2 tank works on 2008-current F650/700/800GS twins (except 800GSA) with SW Motech, Hepco Becker, Wolfman and other pannier systems.

Here's the promise: The tanks are $499 (free shipping in Canada and the US). If you pre-buy and it ships after May 1/14 we will refund $50 a week until it does ship.

    Before May 2 = $499
    May 2-8 = $449
    May 9-15 = $399
    May 16-22 = $349
    May 23-29 = $300

I'll get some pics up Sunday.

    Hey Mr Camel,

We are in for two, The Minister's bike has H&B racks and I am going to just make it work with my Jesses come hell or high water!

We also have the extended rear mud guard, but I have an idea on that score might work, won't know for sure until I see them in the flesh.

Is there a mounting point at the front, or does it rely on only the through bolt at the rear? I can't see from the pics.

3-Yes there is a front mount too. It will piggyback the pannier rack mount that uses the threaded insert in the subframe under the seat.

2-Mud guard: you'll have to get creative with the spacers. There are 3 mounting hole options and a few spacers and flat washers in the kit so it will work with several different pannier systems.

1-Jesse's: Due to liability and insurance reasons I have to advise not modifying or changing the tank or hardware, or use it anyway other than it's intended use and application. Of course after you buy it I have no control over these things!

The V2 pre-buy is now open :clap The version 2 Camel Tank has all the same great features of the original tank such as a billet aluminum fuel cap, stainless brackets, embedded bronze fittings and seamless roto-molded body but fits with a bunch more pannier systems.

Check out the site for details.

    Hi Cory,
Its kio here. Just want to tell you how great this product is. Its a breeze to install (great video). Since filling it up, and riding everyday, my fuel indicator hasn't gone down yet. I had a smirk on my face when my riding buddies had to fill up, while my fuel indicator is still showing 'full'. :clap
