We will be there!!
Great ride report, like the way you tell the story, thanks for sharing it.
I couldn't agree more! I went to several of the presentations, the Yamaha Champion school guys were really good, but in the end you were clearly Best of Show!
There's lots of bike racing champions, but hardly anyone has done the kind of riding you do on the kind of bike you ride!
Looking forward to seeing the show and especially your presentaion Doug.
As a former Alabama resident, It will be good to hear someone with a "Southern accent" for a change.
Mr. Doug on Stage!
I finally got to meet the legend that is "Doug" today.
Doug is the TALLEST guy I've ever met.......
I thoroughly enjoyed his lecture up until he was explaining why he was taken in by the Iraquie cops for taking photos and then he was told by staff that he was running over his time. I really wanted to see the famous toilet paper turban that the cops found in his camera......We all wanted more........Doug, it was a my pleasure to meet you,,,,,,Keep on riding !
It was great meeting you, Doug. And, you talk was great, like you RR's. They should give you another hour to speak!!!
I see Polly couldn't join you for lunch. Someone had to man the booth, eh? At least she was reading an excellent book! Cool seeing Glen there, too.
It was a pleasure meeting you today. The presentation was great even though it was cut short. I look forward to hearing the rest of the story someday.
Great to meet you and Polly today!
It was pretty bogus that the IMS staffer told you to wrap it up so Ewan and Charlie could take the stage...
awesome presentation doug! wish they gave you an hour.
nicel to meet you, it was cool having lunch with you and glen (striking viking).
Doug for the presentation, wish it was a few hours. We could've listened and looked at the pics all day if we had smoke breaks
Honor and pleasure to meet you, best of luck with all your future adventures. We will be following along in cyberspace.
Enjoy the sticker, the boys and gals of BWDR will get a kick out of spotting it someday
Great meeting you and talking old harlys at lunch
thanks for the info about the WLA
you'll have to feed me some more info (PM) about your Europe WW2 trip so I can pitch it
I Only took 1 picture at the show
It was great to meet one of my heros in person. It's really too bad that the girls get a half hour inane questions while the guys that have something to say get cut off before they get a good start. Be careful on the Cannonball.
Why would you consider riding in afghanistan or riding anywhere near those terrorist type countries? There are plenty more places to ride where you dont run the risk of an IED blowing your front wheel off. Sounds a good tour other than that tho. and I love harleys!!
because riding around NYC is too dangerous.
I think I would feel safer riding my bike around northern Iraq than riding on L.A. freeways at 5:00 in the afternoon.
Good luck with all of your projects, especially your Cannonball Indian. Thank God it's got better ABS than those new BMW's!
Someone's gotta show these people (countries) that americans aren't all like obammer, romney or newt!
Keith - GREAT shot - 2 of my heroes in the same shot! Glen and Doug are in a league of their own. Thanks for posting.
Doug - can we buy TShirts online? Unfortunately I am in Canuckistan up in the great white north and unable to attend the shows you are presenting at...
Thanks and ride on,
I guess I'd have to quote the illustrious marketing engineers over at Harley to answer that one. (something I thought I would NEVER do! but....)
