    Hey Doug.

It was great meeting you last night here in Seattle, also thanks for putting up with all my questions. One thing I forgot to ask you was I assume that you camped every night on the road of bones, how was that??,I know you said that you don't camp much on most of these trips.I have alot more questions about my upcomming RTW trip so I will be emailing you in the near future.

    Alan.

Hope you coming to Chicago Show, Doug . Like others said you are the only reason I'm going to be at that show as well. Only half hour off talk for all the adventures you been through is ridiculous though. You should have your own stage !!!
Hope to meet you soon !!!

Doug, it was a privilege to meet you today at the Seattle show. Thanks for sharing more insights and putting up with my tedious questions. Look forward to the final chapter of your trip back the other way.

Really sorry I couldn't stay for your presentation, I was summoned home by my better half!

Seriously, for all you FFs in Seattle, I can't recommend a visit to the motorcycle show on Sunday highly enough. Doug speaks at 10:30 a.m. and it's easily the highlight of the show (and worth going to see if that's all you see). Plus, you'll get a chance to meet both Doug and Polly and ask all the dumb questions you care to ask.

Example: they had a pile of foreign currency at their booth and I asked Polly how she knew where they were from. She patiently said that she knew the languages and then showed where one of 'em was printed with "Bank of Iraq" :lol3.

    Highly recommended.

For those of us who aren't near any of your appearances, is there anyway we can get a shirt? Or is the trouble of shipping and all that stuff a royal pain? Would love to support the cause. Will you be coming up to the Toronto show in January?

My best moment at the Seattle show was realizing, "Hey! You're that RTW chopper guy!" Your Huntsville demeanor belies the depths of your experiences, but it's also what makes you so approachable, so thanks for that. Coulda spent all day listening to your slideshow; now I read your posts in your "LA" (lower Alabama) accent. Thirty min on the stage didn't do justice....

Gotta say, though, your sitting at the booth seemed akin to a caged animal -- still, thanks for making the rounds!

    Doug,

It was fantastic to meet you, Poly and Gramp-Z at the Cycle Show in Seattle and I wanted to thank you two for coming out! Just like many others have said, seeing you both there made the show for me, and I only wish I would've made it in time to see your presentation earlier in the day. Have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and lots of great riding in 2012!

I had done the t-shirts to just try to make a few bucks at the IMS shows. They are paying my expenses, but thats it, so I thought the shirts would help make it worthwhile to do all the travelling. Im having fun, & meeting alot of people, but it hasnt left much time for working at home, or getting around to any of my projects, like rebuilding the '28 Indian for next years cannonball race.
(I did the cannonball shirts to help offset the cost of the race, the entry isnt cheap!)
so if anyone wants a t-shirt, heres what they look like. 17.00 plus shipping, which is about 3.00 in the US via 1st class mail. Not sure what it will cost for overseas, but if anyone is interested, I can find out.
    I have sizes S-2XL

    just PM if interested.

As an added bonus, I'll include one of my infamous stickers, at least until I run out of them. You choice, either the 'G' rated one, or the...uh.... not 'G' rated one.... :evil

    Thanks, Doug
