It was really cool, & had a Geiger/road warrior vibe to it.

Andrei, the owner invited me to stay with him, but I found a cheap hotel close by, & a german guy, Stefan had a garage close I could put my bike in. Alex & Stefan

I traveled with the group til Novosibirsk, but riding with a group isn’t really my thing, and they said I wasn’t good at keeping formation. Hahahahahaha
We were weaving in & out of cars. Im not sure what ‘formation’ they wanted, but I was more worried about watching my ass. So I spotted a big train museum, and stopped. I can find the party on my own.

The train museum was nice, I’d been thru NovSib before, but hadn’t seen this before.

Zhenya had found out I was passing thru, & invited me to stop by his job, the local victory/polaris dealer. Man, that shit is EXPENSIVE there!
We hung out for a bit, we met my last couple times across Russia.

I want to know if that 650 still runs. Pipes look like they open at the front. Be a great musical instrument for whatever band is playing. Kind of like...

    Dear Doug,
Great road trip and thanks for sharing with us.
I have seen the below pictures about the KULAG MEMORIAL.
The marble stone on the right has turkish flag on it.
But I can not read what is written on it.
If it is not too much of hassle can you send me the pic, or hat the stone says?

    Regards

That's a railway coupling, not a Gatling gun.

The stone on the left is the Azeri memorial and says "In memory of 150.000 Azerbaijans, the victims of Stalin repression, deported to Kazakhstan" in Azeri, Kazakh, Russian and English language.
