Enjoy the day Dave-O and pull a wheelie for me!
You thought you were done with tents didn't you?
Up and at em early....by west coast standards.
Wind was whipping last night and the tent covered bunkhouse made a good bit of noise...glad I brought my foamies.
Looks like the weather is going to be great today...
Breakfast soon...then riding
Got a pretty blue F800....
Ready to go
Kinda surprised at the tire choice
Wrong blue bike. Go for the hp2
That's our Instructors....
Busy morning.. working on the basics user a bit more challenging circumstances...
So far..."tuck and roll" has worked well on a couple of occasions..
Taking a break for lunch and back at it..
I can't wait to hear the reasoning behind the street tires.
Can't wait for the final report.
On the hook buddy; I shouldn't have been surprised based on the sales pitch at Bob's but you on an F800 seems like your doing something wrong. Can't wait to get your opinion on this controversial machine. The most important question... Does your gear match the bike? Safety second
Lucky you. My trip to Rawhyde last month was the highlight of my winter. Lance is a great coach. Hope he's there to guide you too.
Best of luck.
Lance has been with the intro group. Our group has Del, Jason, Jeff and Mark.
So far they haven't said anything that I haven't heard before, but the way they translate those things and coach...fanatastic...
Didn't get many still photos today, but a got a good bit of gopro video to be posted later.
Here is the bar...open bar after a hard day riding
The dining hall...so far the food has been awesome
so, there are 40 chairs in that photo. Just curious what the student to instructor ratio is? How many folks in your class?
For our group we have 19 students and 4 coaches. I think the intro class is about the same.
The coaches were always providing great feedback. Little tweaks and suggestions where needed and best of all consistent. They never contradicted what another coach may have already told you..
Oh...and that dining hall is packed at meal time. I think I heard them say this is one of the largest groyps they have had here.
Great morning....got to play in the sand box....a really deep sand box.
The first runs doesn't go so well for everyone..
But it got better..
When we got to the next exercise..things didn't go so well
I'm no BMW expert...but aren't the fluids supposed to stay on the inside?
My next property will have a sand pit and a mud hole...
BMWs don't need no stinking liquid.
Dave if you learn how to ride in that hell called sand maybe you can teach me when you get home.
I'm guessing direct hit to skid plate punching the mounts through the motor....either way it looks expensive!
Day is almost done..Time to cool off with some liquid refreshment. That Katoom will be a dream of the past for you.
