Can someone get me close with jetting?

    I just got a 2005 ktm adventure s and im trying to get my jetting close since i have it apart now.

    Stats:
    7000 feet asl
    Temps around 70
    Akras with baffles
    Uni pre filter
    Sommer airbox mod
    Sas/canisterectomy

    Whats a good estimation of what i should be at?

    I don't have specific jet advice. I do question what good a pre filter set up is when you have holes cut in the side of your air box like the Sommers mod requires.

    If it were me, I'd either keep the mod and ditch the pre filter or vice-versa. Probably put the airbox back to stock and then jet for the pre filter.

    I agree with the post above. Sommers doors are complicating things. I would remove the prefilter, close the doors and go back to stock jetting with the following changes:
    1) raise needles one notch from stock (due to akras)
    2) Stock jets are 160 rear and 155 front. According to jetting wisdom, you remove #3 for every 1000ft of elevation, so you are looking for mains around 140 rear and 135 front
    3) Get a pair of flexjets to be able to fine tune the fuel screws easily. You will be looking to something like 1+1/4 or 1+1/2 turns out from fully in.

    Of course you have other choices too e.g., to contact Ken for an H2W kit for your elevation (sans the prefilter since you already have one) or wait a few weeks to get info on the new super-duper rottweiler airbox currently under testing.

    The PO had the airbox modded. I'm putting it back to stock after that comment. I ride too much dirt for that to be helpful.

    Ill probably keep it for track days and what not but im sure ill need another jetting setup

    Forgive me, im used to jetting 2 strokes. Should i lean the needle out more for the altitude?

    the slide compensates. it is the main jets and fuel screws you have to lean out.

    Have H2W set you up. I've been where you are and found nothing that worked better than his prefilter kit on my CVs with an adjustment to the mix screws and maybe a clip adjustment on the needles at most. $ well spent. Test and tune a few different things and call it good.

    Then again, I just gave this advice to someone else. Now that I have the FCRs, I'd;

    #1. buy those!

    or

    #2. add pods to the CVs, ditch the box and suffer through the jetting till it worked. The airbox is great till you need to work in or under it. The pods are awesome!
