You're right. It's not. Their regular coffee is so over roasted that it can only be consumed with added crap.

You should wear a glue on one. Keep the stereotype going.

I only drink black coffee, but thankfully gas station coffee is the only coffee in my budget. I have tried the Starbucks crap and I am with the crowd who theorizes they deliberately over roast less than top notch coffee beans on purpose. This way they can hawk more coffee with a bunch of extra shit in it that masks the coffee flavor at a much higher profit margin. Thanks to that, rather than making a small profit from me on a cup of plain black coffee, they make no profit from me since I go elsewhere.

Wow, I think all that yellow tape/paint is creating the opposite effect than what was desired. To me it looks like it's part of the road. Like a weird parking spot or something.

Nope, every Starbucks I've ever been to has the same burnt-tasting coffee. Somehow they manage to make it simultaneously dark and weak. I'll usually just pack my own coffee and make it at camp on a trip, but 7-11s can generally be counted on for an acceptable cuppa. Gas stations are usually OK, too, with Speedway having the most consistently adequate coffee in my experience.

I am a cheap, self proclaimed redneck. Never been to a Starbucks. I just traded off a Duc M900 to purchase my new BMW F 650. My riding gear don't match, and my most used bike is my DR.
Where the hell do I fit in? I would like to think I'm just an avid rider.?.?
    Come on, I want a label too!:rofl

If you had been to a Hooters, she likely wouldn't have given you a second glance. I picked up a friend at the airport once, and he insisted we go to Hooters "because they have good chicken wings." Place was loaded with 40+ types hoping to get lucky with the waitrons. They would have had a better chance getting a date at a convent.

To get this back to stereotyping, none of the gals were flat-chested nor conservatively dressed. I couldn't figure that one out.

"Stereotypes are energy-saving devices. If a person already has a well established stereotype they can apply, they don't have to do any additional work to know what to think or how to behave towards that person or group. Great time saver. Many people live in a complex world. There is cognitive overload everywhere. Stereotypes short cut having to do a lot of work in making sense of things."

I don't deserve it. I drive a '97 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro on the weekend. It is well-beaten up, but I still park at the far end of parking lots, away from "the riff raff".

It seems to me that the OP is making overly broad statements about the behavior of his fellow inmates.

I used to be a monotypist until I took a keyboarding class.

Well, for those of you who hate starbucks coffee; it's obvious you've never tried their "starbucks double shot". If you get a large one: 6 shots of espresso, combined with ice, 6 pumps of unflavored sweet syrup, a generous dollop of 1/2 & 1/2. Really sublime! Er, at least that's what I've heard, never ah, actually tried it myself.

By the way, I think I'm in love with the chick with the pickle.:D
