Try copying the image location when you have the pic opened in a larger size at it's hosting site.
If you uploaded them big then you should have a pull down menu under "Tags" . Below "Link" and "Embed" there is "Select Size" and a pull down tab. It defaults at 144px which is the small thumbnail. You want 800px.
Good pictures, but shoot...I'd love to have a closer look at the valve side where the problem was....
I'd have a look at those scruffy hi tension leads... no wonder water gets in that...
and flush the carb... jumping around upside down could stir some old gunk loose....

Looking for schedule info, as in, what time(s) do folks arrive at the stops and leave in the morning? Didn't find it on the CB website.
I'd like to meet up with Cannonball in Fortuna for one or the other.

Looks like they're gonna see some rain.
His last spot check had him at the lake....
Thats a very good point. I would more worried about what the buffalo think about Indians.
Whaaaaaaat!!?? there's a lake in Yellowstone?
I didn't look for temperatures, but this time of year precipitation could turn to snow and ice in a heartbeat. I recall a day in the eighties and waking up the nest morning in West Yellowstone to 22 degrees.
Yep...not too cold at the moment but it could be icy in the morning according to this.
I don't know what's up with his spot...it hasn't updated in more than an hour and a half.....
Just updated...still at the lake but only about 12 miles down the road and at the lodge.
It also looks like he pushed the OK button...vs. it just being another TRACK position.
Isn't that the end of the stage?
You may be right...I was thinking the town of West Yellowstone but checking the website it simply says Yellowstone, WY
edit: and that makes sense with the short stage to Jackson Hole tomorrow.
Waiting to hear from the man how it went today!
Damn! Reading these updates sometimes gets me more tensed up than the evening news. And between the crime rate down here and the political hoopla, that's some kind of tense.
But its worth it to watch Doug meet the challenges.
The Cannonbal website sucks, the map is not a link so it is impossible to figure out where the riders might be. There is a Yellowstone Lodge in West Yellowstone. At Yellowstone Lake it is Lake Hotel. From Lake or Grant it is not even 100 miles to Jackson, so have NO idea where they are staying. Cool ride, piss poor orginization from the spectators point of view.

and you will see where Doug is as of 2012-09-16 18:49:35
From what I have gathered; they are staying at Yellowstone Lodge. They will be riding around it the park and lunch will be at Old Faithful Inn. My wife and I will be there before lunch. We are in Rexburg, Id. now. Our long ride of the year will be including a viewing of all those old but very beautiful bike, plus chatting with Doug and the other rider if possible.
