    Better late than never...just read through the whole thread. Great ride, Doug! My neighbor, Art Farley, did the CB this year as well riding a '28 Harley. And the photos other inmates have posted here have been pure eye candy. :clap

    :clap Very cool picture. Would very much like to see it in the gallery.

    That Cannonball is quite a ride and as demanding as a Dakar, certainly at least as heroic. Events like these hint at the mystique bond between rider and mount as these bikes are still as much alive as the steeds they were going to replace, demanding as much attention at every stage of the ride.

    One question: how about flats? I noticed none or missed all. Are pre-30's motorcycles flat proof or is there some trade-off as in 'tinker with bike and have a flat-free ride'?
