The attached .gpx is for a 200 mile ride that tours the lakes, forests, and rustic roads in the vicinity of the 08 Central Rally. The file contains a route and two tracklines of less than 250 points each. If you want a .gdb instead, PM me with an e-mail address and I will send it out.

Big adventure bikes can handle this route.

This route requires a Michigan ORV sticker ($16.25 - sold where hunting licenses are sold throughout MI area) as a section of it runs on a nice winding mining railroad grade from Crystal Falls through Iron River to Watersmeet, MI.

It is about 212 miles. The GPS file contains a route (that will be less distinct on the RR grade) and two trackline segments of less than 250 points each. If you want the .gdb instead of the .gpx, PM me with an e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

This route is about 250 miles but has a few more highway sections. The file contains two trackline sections and one route. If you want a .gdb, PM me with an e-mail address and I will send one.

Big adventure bikes can handle this route.

This route takes in some Michigan sights: Lake Gogebic, the Porcupine Mountains Park, Lake of the Clouds, the Victoria Dam, and the Firesteel Trestles. Since the trestles are on an ORV trail, you will need a MI ORV sticker for $16.25. There will be a fee at the Porkies too.

For the 13 of you that as of this moment already downloaded the GPX files, I just replaced them with an update. The only change is that I named the routes instead of using autonaming. This will make it easier for you to manage the routes in your unit if you upload multiple routes. Other than that, the routes and tracks remain unchanged.

Do not use this route. Motor Vheicle Use Maps have closed some segments.

This file contains a route of about 200 miles that takes in some back roads and some forest two tracks. It is intended for a smaller dual sport bike. Some of the two tracks are rocky. The file contains a route (which will be less distinct on some of the two tracks) and four trackline sections of less than 250 points each.

Many thanks to Zigman for providing some raw track of two track sections he has ridden near Three Lakes. The file uses back roads and forest roads to tie them together.

Edit: If you want to travel, there are ATV trails in the area. Maps can be found at this link: http://www.huntfishcampwisconsin.com/Atv2.html

This file contains a 265 mile route that runs from just north of Madison to the Rally along scenic roads that roughly trace the Wisconsin River north. Being that the route starts north of Madison, it allows people to funnel on to it from other areas of the south. The file contains a route and two trackline segments of less than 250 points each.

It includes a trip of the free ferry at Merrimac, a ride past Devils Lake, a trip through the Wisconsin Dells, and a nice run along roads and towns along the river.
