Could you try to hold your head more still on those bouncy parts?
Great videos guys
Yes, Good videos guys . . .
Kudo's to Chris and Ev for taking the lead and pointing out the best lines for everyone to take as they took on EH.
I am back in Ohio and really had a great time meeting and riding with everyone. I rode several more days before returning home, maybe Ben will consider making this an annual event - LOL.
Thanks for putting up the pictures and videos - Don't know why but I never seem to think about taking pics when I am riding and I find that my video skills are non existent.
Ben - really like the Dubinky gear - venting is great, nice quality.
Nice meeting you sir. Just remember if you ever have the inclination to head over to NM, look me up. I can show you a few places.
Say Hi, to Mr. Burelson for me.
Excellent vid RF! I can imagine that would have been hard for me with a fully loaded bike.
I can't quite place the tunes....sounds like Pink Floyd and I used to have the album back in the day but can't remember which it is.
Pink Floyd - One of these days
Awesome Video and soundtrack. Still working on some pics and a video of the first section of Elephant Hill.
I have a Q for you guys. Is woodenshoe road from Hite all the way to elk mtn a big bike friendly road? -al
That's what I heard. I'll let the guys who rode it confirm.
There was a long sandy section that was moderately squirmy on a small bike, mostly I think due to a recent grader pass. Otherwise it was buff.
Sounds good. Awesome ride y'all did. -al
I was thinking it was off Ummagumma, but I just looked at the track list and see that wasn't it.
Anyone ever listen to the following off Ummagumma?
"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict"
What a hilarious name for a song! I've forgotten how it goes and will hafta try to give it a listen just for old times sake.
AKASY, I take offense to that comment about me and Ev just sucking up all the beer. Now in Ev's case, it's totally true, but you'll notice a flask of tequila in the right hand side of that pic in which your baseless accusation is made. After meeting you for the first time, I thought I liked you. However, after being tossed under the bus with the likes of Ev, I'm not so sure.
I just got back from my trip last night, and as always, there's no place like SE Utah. Meeting so many of the people from this forum that I've only known from postings here was a great experience. I've met and ridden with some of you already on past trips, but it was neat to getting to meet so many more this time at the Swell. I'm not in to riding a loaded dirtbike over terrain like that anymore, but I'm thoroughly impressed with you folks who did. Deon's efforts on the loaded KLR are impressive...or maybe I'm just feeling sympathy pangs.
sy, i think thad might need a time out.......
Don't look like tekillya to me
Looks like he's suckin the suds to me. Check out that covert Adv salute MTechs giving me, that's probably for gettin us lost the day before
Good seeing you again Thad.
Ever notice that Mtech is around when the "L" word comes up?
I'm just glad that Assfault had a good track out
Hey Dirtdad, are you out of the dog house yet? I want to explore New Mexico - Arizona sometime in the future but really thinking I would like to do the Continental devide next summer - don't know how long it will take and my work will try to limit me to 2 weeks. So I will let you know and maybe you can show me some good places to ride.
