Tires that are often used overhere in Europe on stock 17" motorcycle wheels are following

    NANKANG NS2 165/35R17
    Continental VancoContact 185/60R17
    Bridgestone Potenza 175/55R17

I have the Continental (back) and Bridegstone (front) on my rig - both on stock 17x4,5 Harley wheels. I don't now about availability in the US?

    Greetings from Belgium :D !

I believe that for less than the cost of a wheel adapter, you can send your stock motorcycle wheel to Kosman, and have an automobile tire appropriate bead grafted on. As I recall, you can either maintain the stock wheel diameter or increase the diameter by 1". For a GS rim, I would assume the stock wheel backspacing could be preserved.

$120.00+ for a motorcycle tire and 3,500 miles compared to $45.00 and 12,000 miles+ with a car tire on a rig.
