Yes... I was just thinking that the other day...

I went up to Spada to get a lonnnng dead "OX" and got stuck in the snow.

I'm gonna fire it back up w/ something else here in a few days...

    OK?

Perfect, yea a group of us tried for the lake a few weeks ago now with no luck because of the low snow level.

I'm looking forward to more reasons to explore more. Let's get on this.

I'll play. I'm from back east where these things run night and day. So many riders playing that you get Bruced unless you take time off work to nab a tag or go in the middle of the night which is cool too. I'm in :clap

...just wondering - are you going to pick it up from where it was left - or not? :norton

SO....on my way to drop that certain something and get this tag on the road I ran into a bit of a problem. Me and a friend decided to take some back roads up by Wenatchee and I came around a nice shady bend that to my suprise was mud over ice. End result was a broken shoulder but the bike is ok. We spent about an hour getting myself and the bike turned around and ready for the ride home which consisted of resetting my shoulder back into the joint and then a 30 minute ride back to pavement followed by a 2 hour ride home. Long story short, I'm out of commission and off the bike for at least a month and after I took the spill planting a cache was the furthest thing from my mind. Sorry to let you down fellas. When I get back on I'll play for sure.

...and this is the drop :deal

You might be thinkin' "WTF? :scratch"

I wandered over there yesterday courtesy of "pure-gas.org"

Think I read about it in a PNW thread, in fact. :dunno
Anyways, when I was in Oregon, after I made the "grab" I filled up on some no-alcohol super and it did make a difference in performance - got about 3MPG better, accelleration felt quicker etc...

Another thing - this isn't a rural setting, so maybe it'll be grabbed and moved quicker - mebbe' not. :1drinkJust have to wait'n see... BUT - there is NO mascot(!) so whomEVER makes the grab (IAW "the r00lz") will get to start off a new one. I figure the first mascot "OX" was unavailable when I went to make the initial grab; the second "Penelope" was MIA when I went back to check on her (granted that ~was~ a popular geo-cache site too) and so now it's on you, gentle reader, to continue the game.

    TAG-ON!!!1! :clap

    Sweet!

Remember... Has to be a current tag photo.
Meaning if the next were dropped/tagged at Mt. Rainier's entrance, I can't use an old image that was taken at the same place.
Try at best to replicate the shot you are tagging.

So if I get this right Ox or Pentelop is sitting down in Tacoma someplace around that gas station? I just need to start looking around for it, is that correct and then pick it up and find a new place to drop it and take pictures?

I ended up with a full day to ride today and if my travels bring me down south I may try to grabb it.

OK, so if their is nothing to pick up is it against the rules to NOT have a pic taken at the gas station but find a new tag location and drop a new stuffed item at the new location and start the ball rolling again?

    Oh Boy...

Put your rig where his was and photograph it to "CLAIM THE TAG".

Then go off ANYWHERE and photograph your rig for the next rider to find.

    Rinse, repeat... :lol3

I understand, long way to go for a picture if there is no item to be picked up, maybe another weekend then.

    Cheers
