After hearing all morning about the record temps about to hit SoCal right before throwing my leg over my SE this morning to head to work I take a quick glance at the coolant in the reservoir and notice what "looks" like sand in the coolant. Haven't had a chance to take another look now that I'm at work (I was running late) but it seemed to settle and sit like sand (and at first glance not like oil). The water pump was rebuilt by a reputable KTM dealership here in SoCal 2000 miles ago (at the only the 5800mile mark). I'm assuming this might be the LC8 casting sand issue I've heard about? if not (if it's oil) and knowing the WP was rebuilt only 2K miles ago what else could it be? Any thoughts out there?
