Took a little afternoon jaunt yesterday just west of town. Nothin' special, but a nice way to spend a couple of hours on a fall afternoon.
Near the Stone House on the Mansassas battlefield.
Along Waterfall Road just east of The Plains.
Then a couple more bike photos in The Plains.
Rob says the banana suit detracts from the vintage aura of the photo. Wonder what the heck he means?

For some reason, I always seem to end up on gravel roads . . . . Not sure if I'm livin' wrong or doin' somethin' right . . . . .

just rolled into Staunton from a quick weekend at OBX. The wind and rain started Saturday night and didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon.
All n all, it wasn't too bad driving back out this morning. There wasn't any flooding yet and coming over the bridge wasn't too bad, considering the 40-50 mph winds. They're calling for 3 more days of the same there, so when this thing hits the mainland, its going to be interesting...:eek1

I seriously considered riding the bike today. I like the idea of truthfully claiming that I have ridden in a hurricane. But prudence won out instead.

Hey, Scott P thanks for the advise the other night . We ended up with over 80 oysters and about 15 nice quahog clams
The best part about it was i didn't even get wet . I sent my boys and brouther in after them.
