    Hi LD,

Soooo.....I think I need the OO and a little sweetener (honey).....IYHO, does it make a diff on the "quality" of yeast? It does in brewing.....I use the Red Star packs. I see the jar stuff in the grocery store....

making chili and corn bread now......

    thanks!

Some of the best roads in the east..
I use mainly Fleischmann's yeast bulk.. And freeze it .. Pull it out of the deep freeze the day before... As It needs to be room temp..
Remember it's alive... (yeast) Plus I will also add a little Vital Wheat gluten..
And remember a softer dough is best for pizza .. Not dryish like in bread making...

Never cared for RedStar brand.. Have had it fail and NOT rise..

I used to own half of this place. Sometimes I wish I still had it.

It would have made a great ADV clubhouse.

Yep, just a little higher on the hill, Same original piece of land. The cabin was built by the owner with wood and stone from the property.

It's a big cabin but probably too small for our retirement home. 1 bedroom and a loft.

    +1

It was not paved when we first bought the place.

I always liked the other roads around there too.

Well played gents! :thumb And thanks for the explanation; I was dieing to know! :lol3

Good luck with the property hunt Wayne. Every now and then I get the itch to own a piece of land, but I just can't accept being tied down in that way at this point in life; still have too much galavanting about I need to do.

    Hey Brian -
My place was 1 bedroom and a loft and Mary and I manged to keep from tripping over one another. When the tree fell on the porch and destroyed it, I replaced it with an enclosed room, so we have a bit more space.
