I believe that is Skychs/ Chuck, DDLewis/Dan and Dirtmonkey/Macon from the Richmond area. Check the Richmond thread for pics from their ride.

I remember you three guys - red Hypermotard, sweet old black/red Nighthawk 700S and a orange Z1000.

Thanks Hack. I remember the three inmates. Very nice bikes!

Wish we could have hooked up with them coming down the hill. That would have been fun.

I didnt recognize any adv markings til it was too late. I was chasing the NWva tag. good seeing you guys. Rider in the back was waving me by but I had the go pro rolling and was trying to stay close to grab footage. I hope he didnt mind me following so close. I had a reason.......:deal

ps.....that was me on the Ducati, my oldest son Joe (18yrs) on the Nighthawk and my second oldest son Ben (16yrs) on the Z1000

I don't know but you dispatched them the way I dispatch Harley riders.

Can't remember ever riding that section. I visit 522 south of Culpeper from time to time and some sections north of Sperryville but not Sperryville-Culpeper. I'm guessing it's not heavily patroled? :evil

:ear a canoe I have done some sea kayaking. Which beach did you go to?

I think I could have used a canoe to get to work this morning:lol3

We were in Atlantic Beach. Too windy for canoeing though...sound side the canoe is normally great.

Culpeper cops are highly visible......matter of fact I saw one just seconds after lifting the front wheel as I entered town......close call.:deal

But that stretch of 522 was fairly dead for a mild spring weekend.......

I saw green KLR and at glance it looked like you standing next to it.

Yeah I have the itch. I'm really considering a new Vstrom but that slightly used F800 is really only a few thousand more than a comparably accessorized Vstrom.

The pics alone make the link worth clicking.

    Is the bike worth $12.5K?

Hmmmm...tough call. I don't have too much of an opinion as I think in terms of being able to work on things in a remote situation and prefer as much analog electronics as possible. Glad to hear you looking at riding again though. The F800 sure is purty...but $12500 would buy a lot of gas and campground fees for sure :eek1
