Sexy lookin' bike there Denis!
I knew that
This is looking out my driveway Southeast towards Browntown Valley. That house in the foreground was built about 5 years ago in the middle of my only view. At least its, for the most, part below the close ridge line. South Fork of the Shenandoah is about 900' behind and 100' below the house.
You can see the fog slithering over the ridge top. Dickey Ridge on the left, Hogback Mountain on the right. This pic doesn't do it justice.
I've been up there at night when this was occurring. In one area on the drive the road is cut into the side of a 45° slope that has been cleared of trees. You can ride under the fog rising up(and eventually over the ridge) the contour of the ridge and watch it rise as your riding under it. I need to try and get some video of that sometime. Its pretty cool!
I have no clue as to what the Orange light is on the side of the ridge. Its not the camera. I noticed it when I looked at the photo. Wasn't there before or after. Maybe its an alien underground portal! That reminds me, wheres my tin foil hat...
By brother had a house on the lower side of Dicky Ridge. All you had to do was walk out the back door and start climbing.
I'd like to see that fog rising while riding underneath! Maybe the orange light is a reflection of the low sun behind the camera off something on the ridge. I think I can see where you're looking from. Is there a pond back beyond that house?
new tag game? hunt down Bwalsh! hahahaa. i think i have been by that house.
edit: fog was THICK this morning on Mountain Road.. couldn't even have fun on the SV.
If you're thinking of selling that WRR, let me know, I may be in the market for one; but I wont be trading the V for it!
The V is a great bike; heck, the fact that I'm buying another one should be an indicator. Then again, I did buy a second KLR too, but it's going on the market at soon as I get it all cleaned up and stripped of the parts I want to transfer to the V.
Wow Denis, that thing is clean Probably good karma happened when that guy with the other Versys dicked around. Love the color scheme.
About 500' to the left(East) of the house. The guy made a pond(about 2'-3' deep) and has a duck blind in the middle of it. That view encompasses the entire Browntown valley and Skyline drive surrounding it.
Been there, done that.
The fog is still thick and I need to head to Warrenton soon.
WR250R for sale...finally got some photos posted.
I'm usually not a fan of yellow but the contrasting colors really looks great Denis. Congratulations on the new(to you) bike!
I've not seen a yellow Versys before. Very nice. Congrats on the find!
Not even thinking about women.
He's probably like me. Thinking about them as he roars past then leaves em in the dust.
Oh I think about them all the time, but I've got my priorities!
Same here; I'm one of those people that just doesn't understand the classic muscle car or sports car that's entirely canary yellow!? :huh However, I do like the look of this one; it's a bit more subtle and understated. That and the yellow is a bit darker than straight up canary yellow, and you can't see from the pictures but it's actually a metallic yellow. I'm also hoping that it will make me a bit more visible to cagers.
As a back up if you lose your job, you're almost set to serve as a Touratech salesman
I hope she's not lurking here!
And I love Lightning yellow.
