I'm up for a lunch ride today.
+1 for Lunch. Do you want to eat or ride? Or RIDE TO EAT! Any ideas of destination/time? 12:00 meet at Skippii's?
I can grab a Chanellos Pizza and strap it to my rear rack so we don't have to waste time going somewhere to eat. RIDE RIDE RIDE!
Nose to the grindstone in Cville. Sorry...
Man, I hope this spectacular wx stays a little longer
I should get rained on in the AM tomorrow.
I don't know if I can do this today.
I'm leaving for the DMV right now to actually register the new machine.
Probably won't be ready in time.
Always good to check before you go.
Cool, next week we will figure something out. I was just looking for an excuse to use the new racks :)
Oh, very cool.
Maybe I will be able to make it?
You got my #, Prob going to lunch around 12 or 12:30 but I'm flexible.
I'll call from the DMV.
Do you think there would be any interest in a Shenendoah Dual Sport Tag-o-rama?
Dirt roads and such - we should probably make this a small region since it can be hard to recognize stuff like trees and creeks.
Nice swipe on our tag this weekend.
Come visit us anytime.
Skippii - YES! Great Idea! I didn't get a chance to look but if it is not started by tommorow AM then I am starting it. I will use some of the other templates to set up "rules" which will be pretty lax for this. File Photos allowed? To place a tag with a File Photo? I feel like this may be a more difficult tag what with the obscure places and lack of actual reference points. Can't wait :)
Don't you dare, ya bastard! That's it, I'm tired as hell, and staying up until sunrise to get the first tag!
Just a few thoughts. Anyone chime in.
1.) Are we allowing File Photos?
2.) Should paved roads be permitted or strictly gravel/dirt?
3.) Playing Area: Augusta County, Rockingham County, Page County
Would this field be too large? Otherwise we could do Rham and Augusta and change the name from Shenandoah
Also, I thought I recalled seeing a Dual Sport Tag once. I can't seem to find it today. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Are you thinking state maintained roads only or fire/forest roads too?
1. What's a File Photo?
2. Dirt/gravel. There are lots of other threads for pavement.
3. County lines, and even state lines tend not to marked on the less traveled dirt roads, so lets just say close to the valley.
And I've started the thread with a long section of rules.
File Photo means an old photo you have on file. So, for example, I could go snag your tag and then rather than waiting till I set a new one, I could use a photo i already have on hand. Speeds up the game, but makes it less challenging?
