    Hi all,

    Some advice please,

    A bike dealer in Belfast is selling a new CCM 644 dual sport, only 20 delivery miles on clock, asking £3,450 (UK british pounds).

    Any personal thoughts/advice/views on this bike would be greatly appreciated. I attach actual photo of the bike for sale below;

    Thank you!

    Motor is the same as Suzuki DR650se so very reliable. Can't comment on the rest of the bike.

    I had a '03 with the DR650 engine,jetted and Remus can.
    I drove the crap out of it,left a few litre bikes in it's wake on the twisties more than once. With a bit of tweeking on the suspenders it handled amazing.
    Back then Mr C.Fogarty had bankrolled the operation that was CCM.
    The build quality was terrible,flaking paint,rust,corrosion,blown base gasket at 2k miles.
    5th gear gave trouble in a lot of them.
    Not built for prolonged thrashing in top gear.
    I had a lot of fun on mine but I wouldn't go near another one.

    Please clearify, Would both the motor and transmission be from a DR650?

    Here's what 5th gear looks like before self destruction
    It feels like the chain is jumping the sprocketts in 5th.
