If you've got something in or near Central Texas that's too big or too expensive or too damn much trouble to ship–or if you're just too lazy to go to the post office–post it here and maybe somebody who wants it bad enough will come git it.

In the hopes of making this go easier and keeping everybody happy, here are some guidelines :deal:
    1. Don't be a jerk.
    2. Okay, be a jerk, but at least be cheap.
    3. Respect ADVrider sovereignty: no firearms, post a price, it's not an auction, don't link to an ad on another site, etc.
    4. If you get a good price, consider a donation.

I'll start things off. 2003 v-strom 1000 fairing parts. Yellow.
Let's see. a lot of the plastic bits, most okay, front nose piece is cracked.
Headlights and frame that holds them and everything else--all good.
Golly it's a great bushel of stuff. I'll get some photos shortly.

Free, but you have to take it all. Such a deal.

    Yes. Yes, I can.
Can I post good pics? :baldy

    Anyway:

Yes, I used that metal strap to hold the nose together. I told you it was cracked.

See how shiny? PO cut that square hole for the, uh.. something. I'm sure it was important.

Inner trim with instrument bezels in Kabuki scary-face style. Dusty but unscuffed.

Headlights! Dusty, a little mud, but really quite shiny under the dirt. No scratches or scuffs on lenses.

Bulbs are good. Support frame is straight.

Handlebars: something rattling inside.. bar end thing? Good grief, these are shit even when new.
    Clamps: shiny
    Handguards: pretty ok, reckon.

That thing that covers some space at the front of the tank. I don't know why. Suzuki seemed ashamed of the tank. Or the space. Or that this is a motorcycle. I have no idea what they were thinking. But I've got one. Come git.

There may be more. Maybe some odd fasteners. Once I started removing pieces that I didn't like, I got pretty enthusiastic. Looking for something in particular? Ask me.

Boy howdy, this thread is AWESOME.
    Zillions of views.
    Offers far exceeding asking price.
Crap in garages flying out the door.

But seriously folks, all this is going to Austin Resource Recovery tomorrow unless somebody dibs today.
I want my damn garage back.

I remember a guy at Dotys place with a storm with a bunch of the front end plastic missing last spring , it didn't seem to concern him too much . I don't remember his name .
