    Hello everyone!
This is the first time I post here something before the trip even started.

My last longer trip was 3 years ago - you may find it here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=615699
Next two trips were very short so I thought this year it's time to go a little further.

Here is a short video of some of my previous trips (and me saying something in that strange language that no one can understand):

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=KdUUtQ-NtiA

This trip starts on 1st August in Cieszyn, Poland. I will go (or at least I think I will go) to Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and maybe Afghanistan. This is going to be my 10th trip so I want it to be something special.
As usually this will be low budget trip as I am very limited with money.

    As for today:
-I should get my visas in less than two weeks
-my bike is not prepared for this trip
-I am considering whether to get my sleeping bag washed or not.. maybe again next year.. no money to waste

I can't promise I will be very up to date with this report but I will try. I think it might be fun and also I might have some access to the internet as I thought I'd use some couchsurfing - maybe this way I will eat a little more than usually during my trips.

If you wish, you may support this trip via Paypal

    Thank you from the mountain!

I am starting on 1st August from Cieszyn, Poland. If you want to come and make first couple of kilometres with me - you are welcome.

    Not much changes about me:
    -low budget travelling
    -can't ride off road
    -can't fix my bike
    -lot of sulfur

Terrific yeoup, am happy you are back. Hopefully you are not quitting your

Now few words about the bike.
It's XT600 (model 3TB) made in 1994. I bought this bike in 2006 with 34.814km on the clock.

This bike took me to the following trips:

    2007 - around Black sea (+Armenia+Iran) - 5 weeks and 10300km
    2008 - Romania (12 days and 3000km)
    2008 - Morocco (40 days and 9800km)
    2009 - Russia (Caucasus, 3 weeks and 7000km)
2010 - Mongolia (nearly two months and 18100km)
    2011 - Balkan countries (12 days and 3000km)
    2012 - Romania (12 days and 3000km)

Now the bike has 133.000km on the clock which means that we will celebrate our 100.000km together probably somewhere in Ukraine :clap

PS: I don't know why but when I upload pictures, some of them are very big even though I upload all of them the same way.

Alright! My bike is ready for the trip. It was prepared (like in previous years) by mr Andrzej Rduch from Cieszyn. So this year we have new tires, chain+sprockets, oil, valve adjustement, cleaning carburetor, both brakes brought back to life, new spokes in rear wheel, bearings in wheels, additional side frames for my luggage and many many many more...
