With Mellephants big day approaching, I thought I'd share a pic of Shelb's (my son) wedding day back in September.
He set the bar kinda high, but I know that Matt is up for the challenge.
I am also waiting on that bike. Might be a long wait.

Which one will show up first? KTM or Yamaha.
KTM. Gossip on the Yamaha is late 2018. Fredz might know more about that.
Our Yamaha district sales rep told me last month at the Niehaus open house and adv demo ride that it would be shown at the EICMA show, which it was. At that time, he also told me that it might be delayed until mid 2018, as there were some production issues at the factory in France where it will be built. Looks like that projection was correct. I think that Yamaha is doing that world tour thing to generate some excitement and interest in it as they iron out whatever is causing the delay.
I am sitting by my phone, as I am sure that they will be contacting me to ride it as part of the USA shake down tour.
EDIT: part of the above is bullshit, but you have to figure out what part.
Fredz, passing BS? Nah.

BUT BB, what about my 990 BaJa? I was just about sending U the bill! Books says it's still hi, but I don't always go by the book.
You know me Mark, I buy a new bike every week. In my mind that is. There's a whole world in my head.
Rumor has it a pretty good arsenal is available in Southern IL. My plan is just to ride the Amtrak down to Pinkneyville and take a bike as needed. Between MXRuss and TheMasterSpashler my needs are covered.

another nice day in Illini... was looking for something "new" to see..
a quick check on Bridgehunter.com led me to this old bridge in Adams Co.
About a 2 hr roundtrip,,,, just what I needed!!! McCraney Creek bridge, built
1916,,, 100 ft span.. South of Liberty, Il.
And still in use! Totally amazing.
Added to list to see.
If memory serves me right, there is a twin near Atlanta, IL. Actually there are a lot of them out there, but this one is still in service or was. MORGAN Bridge, just a little WNW of Atlanta on Sugar Creek. There is at least one more bridge on this track that may or may not be able to cross. It is a fun track to ride.
