Any chance you have a gpx file for your ride? I'd like to check out that area. Looks like you guys had a good ride!

I did have the old Garmin GPSV tracking it all... I'll try to get the tracks uploaded on the laptop and posted on here.

Well, not sure if this helps much, but here's a screen shot of the route:

Looks like a nice ride :-)

    Regarding the .gpx file.........

When you had that on your screen did you save it before closing the program?

If so, that's the file bike_pilot was asking for. Of course I wouldn't mind a copy either :-)

oh ok, yeah, I always save these files... What would be the best / easiest way to share a .gpx file then?

I think you can just attach it as a file in a post.

Looking at the icons while I'm typing this reply there appears to be a paperclip icon for attachments.

Yup, I just clicked on the paper clip icon and it allows you to upload a file from you computer.

OK, I've attached 2 files... One is the .gpx file, the other is the Mapsource "Roads and Recreation" standard file format, a .gdb file. Let me know if either of them work...

Scratch that... it only let me upload the .gpx file... Let me know if it works! :D
