Bonebag - I just realized I never paid. I'll pay you when I get up there Thursday night.

Need to find some time to change the oil on the strom.

Kinda seems like a normal rally so far. I hope things get lively.

Truck and trailer are loaded with enough crap for a 50 person "around the world" trek...even though we are just headed a couple of hours south to Wisconsin. :eek1

Leaving in a couple of hours...after I get thru "working".

Should be in site #64, if they haven't lost our reservation.

New track - road ride, premium rolling and twisting pavement, factory tour, lunch.

This is a road ride on some fabulous rolling and twisting pavement in the north woods of Wisconsin. It leads you to the Stormy Kromer factory where you can take a tour at 1330 hrs (Central) weekdays. The ride and the tour are both well worth it.

Besides unique hats and premium wool clothing, these guys also make pet towers, dog beds, medical supplies, and fishing pole cases for some well known brands.

This place is located on historic Silver Street in Hurley, WI. For many years Silver Street had a greater density of bars than anyplace around. It was a sin capital where Chicago mobsters trained bar girls for operations further south.

    Mining country.

Schedule tours at SK are at 1330 hours. However, if you have a small group just drop in and they will take care of you.

That was a great road ride if you don't like straight pavement. And add a few ticks to normal traffic speeds.

For sure. We were wondering what we'd do for a good day ride.

Four of us knocked off the 3 hour Tilden Mine tour in Negaunee. Fantastic tour. I think the guide said the walk through the monster taconite plant was about a mile. Incredibly impressive industrial tour. Look up Tilden Mine tour on the Web and call for a reservation. Amazing.

Friends can not be bought. But most of the gang at this rally can. Mighty generous of you. I'll be there in about 20 hours.

I forgot to mention that you might need to stop to cut the ore dust after the tour. Nice burgers and craft beers at Jackson's Pit, 305 Iron St, Negaunee.

It is where Ed's place used to be.

1 more 12hour night at work (I'm playing hooky tomorrow night) and we'll be heading that way. I'm having a hard time not leaving work early! I'm already there in spirit. Can't wait to meet you all. :D
