My 1st CADVR, I'm in and paid for. I'm planning on tent camping and it appears all the wooded sites are gone as many have predicted..

Do folks share sites (2nd tent)?, and if so any one out there got a 'wooded' site reserved, that's looking to cut costs or share?

Any opinions on site #95. I'm not familiar w/the campground.

I had site 93 a few years ago...fine if you dont drink. There is no sleeping late in that area, the main entry and exit goes right past your site.

I'm eyeing site 29. 50 amp with water, sewer, and electric...walking distance to the dog park!

Should be able to fit the rv and trailer in that spot.

Today is the birthday of Robert "Rabbie" Burns - famous Scottish poet.

So, since we are al (or quite a number of us anyway) fans of the dram, here is some culture for yer.

Enjoy yer favourite dram this eve, and celebrate Burns Night. :thumb

    It's all about attitude.

    Here's Charles Baudelaire's

    Get Drunk
    Always be drunk.
    That's it!
    The great imperative!
    In order not to feel
    Time's horrid fardel
    bruise your shoulders,
    grinding you into the earth,
Get drunk and stay that way.
    On what?
    On wine, poetry, virtue, whatever.
    But get drunk.
And if you sometimes happen to wake up
on the porches of a palace,
in the green grass of a ditch,
in the dismal loneliness of your own room,
    your drunkenness gone or disappearing,
    ask the wind,
    the wave,
    the star,
    the bird,
    the clock,
    ask everything that flees,
    everything that groans
    or rolls
    or sings,
    everything that speaks,
    ask what time it is;
    and the wind,
    the wave,
    the star,
    the bird,
    the clock
    will answer you:
    "Time to get drunk!
Don't be martyred slaves of Time,
    Get drunk!
    Stay drunk!
    On wine, virtue, poetry, whatever!"

    (or beer--my add)

I like that. A lot. In fact, that is why I am going to New Glarus this weekend. To get drunk on friendship with riders from the U.S and Canada. Winter pisses us all off sometimes.:lol3

Also, I didn't meet everybody last year, but I hope those injured at the rally last year have healed up and are doing well, and the same goes for doorguy1979, (who I think missed the rally last year because of an illness or injury) and any others who had to pass last year for the same reason. Hope to see you this year.

You hurt my feelings. They haven't healed. :cry Bacon. Bacon and whiskey. They fix hurt feelings. Hugs are nice too, but I'll let you sublet that to Katy Perry. But she can't sing to me again. I didn't like that. I like bacon though.

I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
