All aboard Chuck's Wagon!
Had a pretty good omelet whilst in there!
Yes, I visited the airfield. There was no one there. Rode around some of the main roads and didn't see anyone.
The airfield was used during WWII but nothing is left of it but the open strip.
Another one lane bridge. Hardee county, near Crews Homestead Ranch.
Oh...umm...maybe it was Kelly Park Road, Then?
My memory's not as good as it used to be.
I should probably start writing these things down.
I do remember that [post=21340585] Brevard Lumber Company [/post] is on U.S. 1
And speaking of airfields, [post=21637173] Southerland Strip [/post] is at the corner of N. Jungle and Fort Lane Roads.
Oh, and [post=21437181] Sunrise Park South [/post] is on Riverside Drive near Holly Hill.
At least you got out to ride in this FANTASTIC weather!
Yes there is. It was known as Withlacoochee AAF.
Here's a link to the info.http://members.tripod.com/airfields_freeman/FL/Airfields_FL_TampaN.htm#bushnell
I had such a nice ride around Webster, someone else can do it too.
Double of Webster area sights:
I saw the O'Boy bread yesterday...lotz of yokels in that area
Wow...very interesting read....thanks!
Yes, glad I didn't hang around there :eek1
Go get yourself some zombies
There are lots of signs for this in the area. This is the one at the entrance to the festivities.
Can we get a clue?
I didn't add this to the update because I didn't see "Cattlemans" as an open tag.
Did I miss one???? its been know to happen from time to time...
Sorry, my bad. I guess I should stop texting and riding. The title is Country Buffet...You know like Jimmy before he went all parrothead.
It's in Sumter County.
Do we at least get a picture of the Country Buffet???
At least I don't see anything in the post but a dash in a donut.......
It dont look like much of a county buffet
Then again....Sumter county
Sorry for the mix up with the title. I went back and edited my Country Style Buffet tag and the shark wall tag replacement to reflect the change. Couldn't get rid of the donut though.
I'm no internet judge but I kinda remember that one being used. IIRC it's on hwy301 in Sumpter county. I wish there was a link/post with all the dino's used so far.
Should be labeled as turnpike overlook.
Also, the Peace Park tag was snagged by Fl Pepper.
