I love the Corbin seat:clap Thanks again Perry, it makes all the difference in the world on the long multi-day rides.

Thanks Layne. Wish I would have taken more....there was the awesome food plus a picture worthy thong wearing female practicing her hand stands while doing the splits down by the hot springs:tb

that looks like a great time. I rode strawberry lake and then bald mountain today. I have video but it is all looking at the ground in front of my bike. Need to angle the camera up more next time. My bike ran like crap the first half of the trip so its mostly video of me kickstarting the bike over and over. I was very jealous of the DRZ's i was riding with. Oh and the view from bald has changed a little.

Kinda been mia... Update is bike is in some serious need of tlc and I am beyond broke.

Over $1000 in parts needed does not include impending crank/piston replacement which is due really soon too. Just wearable items bearings in front wheel hub are shot, havent checked rear but I imagine they are in the same condition. New tire rear... New wheel lock in rear.. New rear tube, turn signals, new filter, brake pads for the rear, mirror, new brake switch, tps sensor, carb boot needed and on and on.

Up for 950 fun... but outa the game for a bit on the light bile stuff.

Where were you guys trying to ride? We went up 245 this morning, and the smoke was pretty bad until Badger or there abouts. Whitaker Forest was fine, and by the time we hit Quail Flat it was clear blue sky. Hume Lake was good, and then everything was ok until ~5000' down the 198. After that, all smoke. Pretty sunset though.

By the way, if any of you lost a desert tan, military issue, mini-saddlebag first-aid kit on Ten Mile road today, I turned it into the Forest Service. Didn't want to, as it looked really good on the back of the bike, but I figured it was the right thing to do.
