Rode 007 today. It was great.

My friend said this creek crossing is super slippery and that a guy he was with had his bike go over the edge down the waterfall and had to fish it out.

Hey Shawn, I was out of town this year so I didn't ride. I know some guys were talking about riding.

Definitely missed our Black Friday ride! I ended up riding the weekend before. Very similar ride to what we did last year. Amazing conditions!

Oh and Monti already got ride of the Aprilia. The gearing and powerband didn't agree with him. He's now got a Husky TE610.

Not at all. I haven't been for a week and a half, but my buddy is up there every weekend. I think the gates are still open.

Gates are all open and dirt is still wet with really good traction. Had a good time today!

Awesome! My buddy said it rained again this morning. Perfect dirt. Wish I could have gone, but I broke my brake pedal on 007. Gr.

Went riding around Whiskey Ridge again today. Conditions up there were absolutely perfect. We saw some fresh dirt bike tracks on a few trailheads but didn’t run into any other riders.

Been exploring back roads between Raymond and Mariposa. Rode out of Raymond N/E on Road 800 (Baily Flats Rd). It turned to dirt and then we came to a no trespassing sign and cattle grate but no locked gate. We decided to turn around but I would like to know if this is a county road that everyone is allow to drive on.

This is in Madeira County if anyone knows who to call about this.

    The sign says Nichelmann Ranch.

I was up riding with a buddy off of Central Camp Road on Saturday. Many trees down from a week ago wind storm. I hate it when that happens. Then we got lucky in that a cabin owner at CC was cutting and moving the logs so my return through there was clear sailing. We turned off onto 7S02 with the intent to get to 8S09 Peckinpah Road and then the Whisky Falls area. But we were stopped by two large trees on 7S02. By then we were exhausted so we headed for El Cid's in Oakhurst. There is another way to get to the Whisky area from 7S02 which is 7S83 also named Brown's Creek Road. After all the times I've been up there I haven't noticed it. Has anyone been on it lately? Can you tell me about the condition and difficulty? Thanks

    Hey Joe,

The 7S02 is what we call the upper Whisky crossover....7S83 would be the lower & is the preferrred route by many since it is more trail like. If I were to rate 7S02 a 1/10 then I would call 7S83 a 5/10 as far as difficulty. 7S83 has 2 creek crossings & maybe 2 sections that are rocky & loose.

As far as I know Bailey Flats is a county road from Raymond all the way past Indian Peak Road. I believe you can operate a vehicle on that road but you can't drive/ride/walk upon the ranch land on eitherside. I've seen that sign before but can't recall exactly where. The first time I was there I stopped to allow a motorhome go through the cattle guard then I just rode right on past it.

Thanks Justin. I'll give it a try this weekend or sooner.
