Yeah Great, you all decide to do this while I'm visiting teh Damn Yankee In-Laws in New York all week.
In other words I'm in next time.
Poor you going up to NY. I was wondering where you were at. Come on out next time for sure. Bring your "cousins" if they're up for it. I did the NJ ride, had a blast.
couldn't make it - meeting at work. I'm definitely in next time though... i need to start checking this thread more often!
yeah we had a great time. lunch followed by a short but entertaining ride. i guess we could do a dinner followed by a ride, we'd just have to watch for the critters :eek1
I'm riding up to DC tomorrow...
anyone have suggested routes or roads to avoid? Right now I'm taking 29n to 28 to 50.
And believe me, I'd avoid 29 if i could!
I've never ridden it, but--taking Rt 20 north to Orange, and then 15 north to Culpeper, would at least avoid some of the worst of 29, and only leave you with a bit of 29 before 28. Not that 28 is ideal on a busy day, but I guess you don't want to end up on I-66 on a 250....
Or, if you have time, from Orange instead of 15 you could take 615 (Rapidan Road) to 522 north to 3 west to 29 in Culpeper. 615 is a nice route, but I don't know about 522.
Dinner - I would be interested in meeting for a dinner/ride somewhere near C-ville. With the days getting shorter and sunset before 6:30, the sooner the better.
Mathias - lets go for a ride, check out the ninja250 site. Goldfinch from Lexington has a yellow 06', we should get a group shot :) Check out Mike's Touring Windscreen
Hey guys - just got back from 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal - very happy to see (feel?) that it's still warm in Cville!
I guess Hardy is on the TAT somewhere freezing his ass off on that KTM - anyone hear from him yet?
If anyone wants to ride/meet/get a bite to eat, gimme a shout
If Gimmeslack gets his battery work done we may go for a lunch ride Fri.
Lumpkins in Scottsville
I'm taking a ride up to D.C. after work today if anyone is heading that direction looking for some company.
I head up there to see the lady friend about every other weekend, so the offer is almost always on the table. Just stinks that now it is dark around Madison/ Culpepper.
also, I work at Gropen on Market, so meeting at Belmont BBQ should be a tradition!
Cool. Aren't you closer to Jinx's PitsTop?
I'm usually either on Preston Avenue or on University Avenue.
Yep, I'm about a 3 wood away from jinx. I've been getting a little addicted to the hot sauce at Belmont though.
Another Cville BBQ meetup locale though.
Let's do a lunch next week.

How does Wednesday work for everyone?
Just digging out guys, and would love to meet for a little Belmont, whether it be lunch or dinner. Wednesday sounds good, Fox - who else is in? Flash?
In,>If that pesky thing called work doesn't interfere.
Belmont? Wed? What time?
We usually do 1PM.
Guy's I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make it unless we switch this to friday 2PM.
Got to do a quick 2 day run up to NYC.
We'll have to do it again soon. Gas I wanted to hear some of your Europe stories. I heard from Hardy, he's doing good out on the trail.
Someone who is actually going confirm a time so that the lurkers and last minute people know when to come if you are still going out to lunch tomorrow.
Can't do Friday, Fox, gotta be in Los Angeles for a couple of days.
I'm gonna go to Belmont BBQ tomorrow (wednesday) at 1PM, if anyone wants to eat and ride, or just shoot the shit, cya there.
