I think I finally got pics working.

New tag is at the end if the road the Charlottesville DMV used to be on, well, a road that has the same name. It's a very short road in a very small town.

The road "ends" at this sign.

Directly across the road from that sign is the new Christmas poo monkey. Hanging out

Guess I should actually check if a tag is still in same place as it was a few days ago. Pretty bridge on a nice afternoon in any case and I had to stop babying my new street bike and get it a bit dusty anywY. ;)

Here you can play with this monkey for one night but he has to go back to the woods tomorrow.

Yeah end of state maintenance and no trespassing signs did not fill me with confidence to go further at night, with dogs barking, looked like a driveway, but I pressed on down the hill anyway even though I never found that University rd!

Ok new tag is near a cool squiggly road that I saw on sat map in the SW hills that goes up to a parking lot on top of a mountain around which I was hoping to find a dirt tag spot along this road and mountain named after the St who guards heavens pearly gates. Well I got to the base of this road and it seems like they don't want anyone up this mountain despite the gates being wide open the huge sign and serious looking CCTV monitoring were hard to miss so tag is at base of this road and mountain that I'd like to take a peek at one day if anyone here works for AT&T ;)

Oh well so much for going up there.

    Hmmm
    [IMG]
Across the st. Sorry this part of this saggy rd is paved, but I rode dirt to get here and if you pull to side of road it's very dirty at tag shot.
Monkey is at base of right tree with yellow signs.

Fiber optic cables buried into a mountain, yeah ok, must be great internet service out here.;)

Went for a little ride with my dad today. Lookee who we found! :D

Grab photo (location as Fox said is intersection of Peters Mountain rd and Turkey Sag rd).

We continued on down the length of Turkey Sag rd (yes, Harleys are capable of riding gravel, but the operator needs to be capable I guess! :norton).

Didn't go too far before placing the new tag.

    TAG SHOT.

My father is pointing to where the monkey is hanging out on a wire connected to that gate post.

I'm pretty sure that the TAG spot is the location of a former brick plant in the area named for "a fine-grained, clastic sedimentary rock composed of mud that is a mix of flakes of clay minerals and tiny fragments (silt-sized particles) of other minerals, especially quartz and calcite."

It's located on a road with a 3 digit number that all adds up to 16, and located closest to a town known for it's yearly Steam & Gas pasture party.

    Happy Tagging!

Was riding around a bit on this 66*december night singing Xmas Carols in my helmet and letting out hearty ho ho ho's...

And who should I find just hanging on the wire.

Tag was at Weyburn Rd Somerset old general shale brick plant that was shut down.

New tag is in an undeveloped phase 2 part of an upscale Greene county subdivision where the roads await paving still as phase one lots are still available. Feel free to go look at the lots available and do the dirt loop where you'll find monkey hanging out on one of the high end builder signs advertising the fact that they can build you your dream home in this convenient yet peaceful subdivision close to 29/33 intersection. Contact me of course if you want to buy a lot or a whole house, as your local motorcycle riding Realtor and have I got a deal for you!...;)

Subdivision and road you turn on off 33 is named after prominent patriot who had such a large and stylish signature on the Declaration of Independence that his name is now a synonym for signature. Make a left on the only road you can that's named after the electronics company that built the first audio video amp for a home theater back in 81.first anti theft car cassette could be slid out of dash, first with 24 presets! First polypropylene speaker cones...anyway monkeys up a ways on the left off this street.
